  7. I had the chance to see Errol PIres’ Ply-split Braiding work when it was exhibited at the NID gallery in Ahmedabad. Really nice work, something we hadn’t seen before. There was an unusual quality to the braiding patterns and also the way in which the colours came together, somehow reminding one of Gautemalan textiles and yet not quite that either!
